The UK Government on passing the 1949 National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act declared  'for the first time in English history an Act has been passed by parliament with the object of setting out in a workable form a comprehensive charter of rights for all lovers of the open air'. Woodland Springs CampsiteWoodland Springs Touring Park and Campsite is an Adult Site Only. Situated in Venton, Drewsteignton in Devon on the north side of the Dartmoor National Park Woodland Springs is a ideal site for adult campers, caravaners and tourers to explore the beauty of Dartmoor.

Great views, peaceful tranquil location ideally located to explore Devon towns within approximately a 20 mile radius of Exeter to the east , Great Torrington to the north, Newton Abbot to the south. Smaller local towns and villages include Crockernwell, South Tawton, South Zeal, Gidleigh, Frenchbeer, Lettaford, Easton and Doccombe.

Woodland Springs is a tranquil and secluded site that caters for touring caravans, motor homes and tents, (the site no longer accepts American RV's).

Access to Woodland Springs is quick and easy from the A30. Ideal for those wishing to go caravanning and camping in Dartmoor and Devon and an ideal base for discovering Cornwall and the South West. The campsite is surrounded by farm and woodland with walks from the site. The site boasts a brand new toilet and shower block with disabled facilities, it also incorporates a dishwashing room and laundry. If you want to take your laptop with you Woodland Springs is now digital so you will need FreeView or Satellite for your TV now. WiFi is also available at Woodland Springs.
